THE BASICS
- Turtleball comes with (12) coconut shells and (4) turtleballs
- Each team places their set of 6 shells approximately ~10 feet apart from their opponent
- Scoop and set the (6) shells in a triangle/pyramid formation in the sand
- For optimal game play, smooth out sand around the coconuts to ensure they are sitting below the surface
NO POINTS, JUST FLIP THE SHELLS
- 1 v 1, players stand on opposing side
- 2 v 2, teammates stand on same side
- Each team alternates tossing the balls
- Sink a ball into a shell + flip it over
- First to flip over all (6) shells wins!
DANNY'S FAVORITE GAME STYLES
- The Hatchling (aka the OG) - 2 shells, front shell = 1 pt; back shell = 3 pts. Play to 11/21 pts. Rally Scoring.
- Turtle-in-the-Middle - front shell (1 point), middle shell (turned over), back shell (3 points). Play to 11/21 pts.
- Box Turtle (4 shells) - 2x2 square layout for a quick, fast game of Turtleball.
- Diamondback (4 shells) - diamond layout
- Hawksbill - front row - 3, middle - 2, and 1 shell in the back for a challenging twist!
- Clockwork (6 Shells) - Sink all (6) shells in order by Clockwise/Counterclockwise
- Loggerhead (6 shells) - 2 rows of 3 - Standard Turtleball rules applies.
- Tic-Tac-Turtle* (9 Shells / 10 balls) - 3x3x3 grid. Standard Tic-Tac-Toe Rules applies.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:
- Cross Roads (5 Shells) - Sink all 5 shells in a cross / t
- Sink or Swim! (2-4 players) 3-shell triangle/player. The last player to sink their (3) shells goes in the ocean!
- Honeycomb (7 shells) 2x3x2 layout offset - 2 sets required.
- Leatherback - Win stays, loser walks. Keep track of your wins. Player/team with most wins at end of the day is crowned the king.

Our Turtleball shells are made from natural coconut shells and are crafted by hand. We encourage you to leave the beach better than you found it. Flip the shells; save the turtles!
