What are Turtleball® Tournaments?

Turtleball® Tournaments are high-energy, eco-friendly competitions held right where the game belongs—on the beach. Players come together to toss, flip, and protect the ocean one shell at a time. Whether it’s a casual seaside match or a full-scale bracket, every tournament is a chance to raise awareness, build community, and have fun sustainably under the sun.

How it Works

  • Setup: Each team gets 12 coconut shells and 2 Turtleballs.
  • Distance: Place shells 10 feet apart.
  • Gameplay: Take turns tossing Turtleballs into the shells.
  • Scoring: When a ball lands in a shell, the opponent flips it. First team to flip all 6 shells wins!

Tournament Formats

  • Single Elimination: Quick and competitive
  • Round Robin: Great for community events
  • Freestyle: Casual play with creative twists (relay rounds, team flips, etc.)
